Flora earring
My favorite earring for the spring.
To make:
- Take any square base for the earring size you need and make a square by wrapping green followed by pink color strip and keep it aside.
- Make a loose coil with pink in the middle and green outer.
- Shape it as tulip leaf and fix to the corner of the square.
- Next make pink loose coils and shape it to a triangle.
- Fix all the triangles in the opposite corner and attach earring wire.
Big blue
Do you want an earring with many shades? Here is it. I some times become lazy to search for the shades matching to my blue dresses, so thought of combining all the blue shades and made this big blue earring.
To make:
- First we need a base big drop, for that take 2 darker strip and a lighter strip.
- Start wrapping around the desired size with darker strip inside.
- Now make the circle to a drop shape by pressing one point.
- Next we have to make small circles of different shades.
- Make a tight coil of all the shades together.
- Arrange the small circles with the tight coil in the center and stick them .
- To fix the earring wire make a small circle and stick in the tear end and attach the 'o' ring and ear wire.
Tortoise key chain:
To make:
- First make a large tight coil to the desired size.
- Make a medium size tight coil for the head part and four small coils for the legs.
- Bring all the coils to dome shape and apply glue to the inner side.
- Stick the legs and head to the body part.
- Paint the tortoise body,I have used acrylic paints.
- Let them dry and apply waterproof coating and gloss if u want.
- Attach to the chain.
Leaf Earring:
- I used comb weaving technique to make this shape.
- It is strong and firm as I wrapped the contrast color strip around the shape.
- I have attached a chain to the leaf to swing.
Clock frame:
The design contains floral pattern and creepers.I have done this with black 1" strip .To give extra attraction have painted the clock with metallic gold paint.
Leaf pattern:
To make:
- First make a circle with the maroon strip and the other color over it.
- make sure that the ring is strong.
- Using zig-zag strips make a coil with the two colors.
- Fix it to One end of the circle.
- Using the Quilling comb make 3 petals and attach to the circle as shown in the picture.
Petal necklace:
I have used the tear drop shapes and domes to finish this necklace.
To make:
- Make a coil with pink in the center and yellow as a border.
- Loosen the coil slightly to bring the tear shape.
- Make 8 petals in the same way and make sure all the sizes are same.
- Make a tight coil with pink in the middle and yellow as border and make a dome.
- Make 2 sizes of domes 2 each.
- Glue the petals care fully as shown in the picture and attach the dome.
- Leave them overnight to dry and attach the chain strand to the ends.
Tri colour Jumka:
An earring which suites to most of the dresses in your closet as it has primary colors.
To make:
- Roll the paper with green as a starting color and red and yellow.
- Make a dome shape and glue them inside.
- Attach the chain to the jumka using an 'o' ring
- Attach to the hook.
Kollam...
In India its a traditional practice to draw kollam in front of the house with rice flour as a welcome note as well as to feed small insects like ant.I took that as an inspiration and made this earring.
To Make:
- First make a round of about 1 cm wrapping around many layers,so that it will be strong.
- Squeeze it to the square shape and almost like a diamond.
- Make a loose coil and fix it in the middle.
- Make four tear shapes with white in center and black as a border.
- Stick the tears on the corners and attach the ear wire.
- For this project I used 1/8" paper.

I was so exited while doing this as this is my first pendant try.

- First made a round with 4 layers with 2 inch diameter.
- Rolled small circles and glued it in the shape of the letters.
- To add more attraction have applied metallic gold paint.
- Finally attached the letters to the round.
The chain is 10" in length including the Pendent .

QUILLED EARRING |
Serrated mangoes..
- Firstly I made the strip zig zag and rolled to a circle. You should be carefull while rolling not so tight or so loose. Then only we will get the correct shape at the end.
- For this I used brown and yellow strip together and quilled to get a double color effect.
- Then I shaped it as a Mango and attached the circles on the top.

Paper Quilled earring |
Violet and Yellow
An yellow and violet combination becomes my favorite combo after this earring.Quilling is more interesting when we play with these kind of colors.I have used yellow and purple strips and quilled round and has given an embossed effect in the center. To ornament the outer circumference ,used the zig zags again with the same colors and glued around the circle.
I am trying to put a full quilling tutorial of what ever I make ,but with my 16 months old kid I find less `time but soon will come up with tutorials.
